Cone Beam Computed Tomography

Unlike traditional CT scanners, in CBCT, an X-ray tube and detector panel rotate around the patient, capturing data with a cone-shaped X-ray beam instead of the usual CT slices.CBCT  has its advantages in lower radiation exposure to the patient and easy image  acquisition.

It is faster because it produces a complete volume in a single scan rotation. Also, the patients can easily and clearly understand the images of CBCT, making it easier for them to understand their pathology. Thus, it is easier for the doctor to explain to them the treatment advised.
